Highview is the top floor flat of a large Purbeck stone house, with lovely views over Swanage Bay, with the Isle of Wight and Old Harry Rocks in the distance, and only a short walk from the town centre, where there are shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes
The flat overlooks West End Cottage, where Thomas Hardy lived in 1875-6 and it was here that he wrote The Hand of Ethelberta, Swanage becoming Knollsea
The flat sleeps 4 comfortably. It has a spacious lounge with a window seat overlooking the bay and a well equipped kitchen. There is a TV and video player in the lounge, a good selection of videos, books and games, and the flat has a washing machine, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, telephone and central heating
There are two bedrooms, one double with built-in wardrobe and a smaller bedroom with twin beds. Duvets, pillows and blankets are provided.
This holiday flat is available for 1-4 week lets all year and is also available for short
